We are all longing to go to concerts again. And the musicians we usually meet in Allhelgonakyrkan want that too! That's why Bengt Forsberg took the initiative for two recorded concerts, one of them together with violinist Tobias Ringborg. We hope to publish them within two weeks with the link here.
The concerts took place in the church with only three people present: the musicians and a technical manager. In the first Tobias and Bengt play music for violin and piano by four composers, with Beethoven's Spring Sonat as the longest work. It's fitting for this time of year and Beethoven's 250 year anniversary. At the second concert, Bengt plays solo works by Bach, Schubert, Alkan and Lili Boulanger. Something we can look forward to hearing soon!
During this covid-19 crisis, Tobias has also performed as conductor at hastily organized concerts with both the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic and the Swedish Radio Symphony. He also directed his colleagues in the Opera North's orchestra in England on a skillfully made clip that you should see: YouTube link .
