More information about the artists

Anne Sofie von Otter, mezzo-soprano, is one of the finest Swedish singers ever. In addition to opera engagements at the world's top venues, she has an extensive recording and recital schedule. The latter often include innovative and transnational projects. Among her conductor collaborations include Carlos Kleiber, Claudio Abbado, Marc Minkowski and Sir Simon Rattle. She is a regular guest at leading festivals and has achieved great success as a lieder interpreter during her more than 30 year collaboration with Bengt Forsberg. She has appeared often at Allhelgonakyrkan, most recently in our 2018 festival, Brahms and his Friends.

Olle Persson, baritone, studied at the Royal School of Music in Stockholm and received besides a voice teacher degree. With an unusually wide repertoire, he has appeared on almost all significant scenes in the Nordic countries. In addition, he has very often been involved in premieres and newer repertoire. At the Folk Opera in Stockholm Olle Persson has been a regular guest soloist since 1987 with over 10 leading roles. In addition to the collaboration with the Folk Opera, Olle has participated in a number of shows at the Royal Opera, Gothenburg Opera, Malmö Opera, Drottningholmsteatern and Norrlands Opera.
He also plays violin and sometimes performs in a folk music context with Lena Willemark. His most recent appearance at Allhlegonakyrkan was in 2004 with music by Torbjörn Iwan Lundquist.

F Street Quartet, Margareta Christensen, soprano, Anna Styrud, mezzo, Pär Dahlstedt, tenor and Filip Ekstrand, bass - startades våren 2016 and is made up of four singers who love to sing together. Their repertoire is a blend of English baroque, Bach, Mozart, Verdi, Bellman, Manhattan Transfer, Swedish choral music, Vocal Jazz and everything in between! The group's motto is ”Chamber music - with voices at the center".
This will be their first appearance at Allhelgonakyrkan.

Gregory Lloyd is the organist for the Katarina parish and appears regularly as soloist in churches in the Stockholm area. He is also choral director of the Katarina Vocal Ensemble and Stockholm's cathedral boy's choir. He has led several chamber music concerts in Allhelgonakyrkan and appeared in the Chamber Music Festival 2011 as soloist in Bohuslav Martinû's Harpsichord Concerto.

Fabian Fredriksson, guitar, is a Swedish songwriter/producer and guitarist. He is a graduate of Musikmakarna, a Swedish producing/songwriting school. Fabian appears as guitarist on the Grammy winning cd Douce France and on So Many Things ( 2018) with Anne Sofie von Otter and Bengt Forsberg on organ.
He has performed at concerts in Hanoi, Adelaide, Usedom, London and Stockholm. This is his first appearance at Allhelgonakyrkan.

Bengt Forsberg, piano, has achieved a unique position in the musical life of Sweden as a pianist, chamber musician and accompanist, including a long collaboration with Anne Sofie von Otter. He has recorded many CDs, many of which have received international prizes such as Grammy and Gramaphone's Record of the Year. The last few years Bengt has recorded several CDs featuring woman composers. "Neglected works for piano" is one and together with Cecilia Zilliacus and Sabina Bisholt there have been several CDs with music by Amanda Maier.
Bengt is KVAH's artistic leader and has been responsible for chamber music in Allhelgonakyrkan for more than 30 years. His repertoire is unusually broad and planning discussions with KVAH's board take up both works by little known composers and little known works by well known composers. The result is wonderful concerts with many of Sweden's finest musicians.
