Kristina Winiarski

Kristina Winiarski, cello, studied at the Malmö Music School, the music school of Zagreb and the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein for Professor Valter Despalj. She has received scholarships from the Royal Academy of Music, Sandrew Scholarship Fund and the Freemasons in Stockholm and won a number of awards at competitions in Sweden, Denmark, Estonia and the USA and has appeared as a soloist with several orchestras internationally, including with the Zagreb Philharmonic Hall in Croatia, the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, DC, the National Philharmonic in Maryland, USA, and St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra of Russia. Kristina has a keen interest in chamber music and has regularly participated in festivals, including Lyckå Chamber of Blekinge, "Next Generation Festival Bad Ragaz" in Switzerland, "Copenhagen Summer Festival" in Copenhagen, "Lienzo Norte Festival" in Avila, Spain. She regularly performs with pianist Pontus Carron. Their duo won this year’s Swedish competition "Ung och Lovande". Her latest appearance in Allhelgonakyrkan was in May 2018.

Pontus Carron


Pontus Carron, piano, studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm under Ingeborg Klose-Akesson, Ann-Sofi Klingberg and Stefan Bojsten and in the spring 2017 he finished his master studies at Edsberg Manor in Stockholm under the guidance of professor Mats Widlund.
Pontus has received a number of prizes throughout the years, including the 1st prize in Stockholm International Music Competition 2017 and Scholarships from The Royal Swedish Academy of Music and The Grand Lodge of Sweden. He regularly performs with cellist Kristina Winiarski. Their duo won the 2019 Swedish competition "Ung och Lovande". His latest appearance in Allhelginakyrkan was in May 2018.
